Modern tools for dental education and research

Digital dentistry has been revolutionary for dental care, but educational tools are sometimes lagging behind. We believe properly designed tools can improve education by facilitating interactive case discussion, improving visualization of the virtual patient, and encouraging multidisciplinary treatment planning.

This project was started by Prof. Mihai Tarce in 2015 and aims to provide tools which help realize the full potential digital dental education. Because of interest from other universities, in 2023 a start-up company was founded to share these tools with other universities and educational institutions wishing to integrate them into their teaching.
